The Last Kingdom Season 3

BlueBolt created all the VFX for Carnival Film’s The Last Kingdom, a historical fiction series set in the 10th century AD when England is divided into seven separate kingdoms and the Anglo-Saxon lands are gradually plundered and ruled by the Viking Danes.

The show was a continued close collaboration between BlueBolt and Carnival Films to help create the Dark Ages world in which the series is set.

BlueBolt has since worked on all five seasons and the special feature-length finale since it first aired in 2015, providing environment work to turn Budapest into period Britain, complex CG battling armies and horses, CG ships at sea and plenty of gore.
